FTE-Aeronautical Unit

The FTE-Aeronautical Unit, part of Hkpflj, is responsible for maintaining the management of continued airworthiness (Part M, CAMO) and aircraft maintenance production (Part 145, MO Base Maintenance) for the entire Hkpflj. The FTE management and staff are located in Linköping at Malmen, with local Flight System sections and Maintenance Workshops located in Luleå (Kallax), Linköping (Malmen), and Ronneby (Kallinge).

Main Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Workshop section at Malmen in Linköping is being established and, when fully built up, will consist of approximately 30 civilian employees divided into 3 service teams. The section's task is to carry out base maintenance, repairs, and modifications on HKP16 (Sikorsky UH60M – Black Hawk), but also to provide support for line maintenance as needed.

As the manager with personnel responsibility for the Maintenance Workshop section at Malmen, you will independently lead the aircraft maintenance service in consultation with management and the company management on-site at Malmen. This means you will be responsible for personnel planning, recruitment, budget, performance monitoring, competence development, salary setting, and operational planning. You will be placed in a war position. The job will involve some travel within Sweden and may also include work abroad.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in personnel management
  • Technical background and/or good technical understanding deemed relevant by the employer
  • Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both English and Swedish
  • Driving license B

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Good experience and knowledge of managing aircraft maintenance services (SE EMAR 145 or EASA 145)
  • Experience working in military aviation (RML)
  • Experience as an aircraft technician/mechanic
  • EMAR 66 certificate Cat. B1/B2/C
  • Knowledge of budgeting and finance from revenue-funded operations
  • Basic training in HUMAN FACTORS and the organization's procedures. Training can be provided after employment but before taking full responsibility as a manager
  • Completed training package for basic military aviation training according to LML (Military Aviation Management) or equivalent competence
  • Experience with the Armed Forces' IT environment, FENIX, PRIO, VIDAR, etc.
  • Good knowledge of maintenance planning
  • Completed military service, home guard soldier, or similar experience in military operations
  • Experience in change management.
